Renewable Energy / Engineering Theme

The courses described below will be offered for the 2019-20 school year.

In PLTW Engineering, students investigate topics such as aerodynamics and astronautics, biological engineering and sustainability, and digital electronics and circuit design, which gives them an opportunity to learn about different engineering disciplines before beginning post-secondary education or careers.

Biomedical Science

Students engage in activities like investigating the death of a fictional person to learn content in the context of real-world cases. They examine the structures and interactions of human body systems and explore the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease, all while working collaboratively to understand and design solutions to the most pressing health challenges of today and the future.

Computer Science
The PLTW Computer Science program of study engages high school students in computational thinking and prepares a computationally aware and capable workforce. This program comprises introductory, foundation, and specialty courses.
