Students from Central, Bessemer, Highland Park and Roncalli attended the Southern Colorado Manufacturing Expo on October 1 held at the Freedom Financial Services Expo Center in Colorado Springs. The students visited booths sponsored by local companies that manufacture products used all over the world.

After visiting the Expo, Ashtyn Parker, a 6th grader from Highland Park, exclaimed "I know who I want to work for."

Justine Cruz, 6th grade teacher at Highland Park stated that her students wanted to learn more about the 3-D printer and how to use it. Her students were also amazed at how much went in to making certain products.

6th grade teacher, Sean Wolfe said, "The students had a blast and didn't want to leave. They learned so much!"
